License to Carry
TEXAS LICENSE TO CARRY (FORMERLY CHL) COURSES ARE A GREAT WAY TO EXERCISE YOUR 2ND AMENDMENT, RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, BY ALLOWING CITIZENS TO EITHER OPEN CARRY OR CONCEALED CARRY.
ATTENTION: Students must be proficient with their firearms and firearm safety prior to attending any carry class. (We offer the course Intro to Pistol and Safety for those who need or want it) For Questions or concerns, please contact us at DHouston@tier1ltc.com.
This Course will give you the knowledge as well as the confidence to carry LEGALLY. After successful completion of this course, you will be given the LTC-100 form needed for the State. The State fees are only 40.00 unless you are a veteran, in which the fees are 25.00. If you are active military, there are no fees to be collected by the State. We proudly offer discounts of 10% off of any course for Military, Doctors, ALL First responders and peace officers.
If you are booking the LTC Course on any day outside of Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the range portion of the course will need to be completed on one of those 4 days. The range Tier 1 LTC uses is only open Thursdays - Sundays. However, if you do not have the times to do both in one day, I can accommodate the course one day and the range another. If you have further questions concerning this, simply give me a call at (817)480-0859.
I can do private courses as well as courses at your place of choosing with the understanding there will be an additional 15.00 per person to do so. You must have a safe and ethical place to qualify with the ability to set up shot distances per the State of Texas rules and regulations.
Once you are booked, you will receive a very detailed email that contains everything you need to know about the course booked, ammo needed, locations, and other important bits.
