FREE Texas License to Carry Course (CHL)

This class is COMPLETELY FREE! There are no sign-up fees or hidden costs. The class is what you need to satisfy the classroom portion and shooting proficiency of getting your License to Carry.

The range fees do include targets and time needed to qualify. The range fees are 45.00$ unless you are a Veteran, first responder, or currently work in the Medical or Education fields, in which range fees are then only 35.00$. You will need a handgun with a minimum caliber of .22 and you may use either a revolver or semi-auto. You will need a minimum of 50 rounds of ammo, but we recommend you to bring 100, just in case. You MUST have hearing and eye protection ( sunglasses or prescription glasses will suffice). No open toed shoes or high heels can be worn at the range, and you must dress range appropriate. Please, no loose fitting shirts for the women, we do not want hot brass going places it should not be.

All you need for the class, is a valid Texas drivers license or Texas ID, pen/paper, if you would like to take notes, and a smile!

Class location is Midlothian Conference Center located at 1 Community Cr Midlothian, Tx 76065. A very detailed email will be sent out to each student as the class date approaches and has all the necessary information included about both, the class and range.
